Lo.

I've not been on the server for a while, and I am not planning to come on more than thrice a year anymore. I am incredibly busy, and cannot use much time at all on Minecraft. So, bye for now.

Reasons why I am not coming on: (For my sake, I'm thinking aloud)
  • Time.
  • Not being that good at Redstone.
  • Being pretty much done with Minecraft, overall.
  • The community itself. I have no problem with ORE as a whole, most people are great. The school server on my opinion is better than the build server, because a lot more learning is going on there, and build has shenanigans to infinity. There are too many things and people that our staff of about 20 have not taken action on, however most of them are little things that just bother me.
  • The changes. When I first joined, which wasn't that long ago, less than a year, ORE was on 1.7.9. That might have been ORE's peak point, as a lot more new people were joining then (about 7-10 a day), and the server's community helped me a lot with programming and computers, one of my hobbies, and the focus of one of my jobs.
  • Me. I feel like I haven't added much to the community. I was an idiot on the survival, never added anything insightful much to the conversations about Redstone (which are less now), and the only thing I did much was teaching, a lot. There are only a few teachers that are still teachers, e.g ctjet, and PablitaDons.
However, if someone wants me on the server for a project or something, I'll be glad to come on if I have time.
So, seeya.

I didn't elaborate much, did I.

RE: seeya-Zimbie - Magic :^) - 05-31-2015

keep in mind that there are less new members during the school months. it is quite common for there to be a peak during the summer, and low activity from september to may

RE: seeya-Zimbie - Nickster258 - 05-31-2015

We actually have had more school/build applicants since 1.8 than we have had the prior 12 or so months.

That's cuz 1.8, number of applicants are still gonna grow on summer break so ye. Good luck us staff
