Hi,
im looking for a 8 bit serial transmitter with a 8bit serial receiver for my fax
dylan russels fastest serial is all buggy and works for a bit then it fails

No it doesnt, we have tested it many times, is ur timing between. Ur init. And ur data right?

Do you want a half-duplex or full-duplex device ? With a half duplex you can transmit data with the same wire.

Huh? You can't do full duplex single wire, well you can, but it requires a 2way wire

I think Decapo has missunderstood. I ask if fluffy406 will half duplex compatible device or if two wires do not matter or are better for him. I think this is very important to know.

Im looking for a long range serial device as mean it can go very far
