Hosting Survival - Crazyninja2000 - 02-17-2015 I am hosting going to host a survival server. It has a really nice map, no plugins or mods. The only problem is that i only have a 1.7.4 server launcher, and ide rather not make it 1.8. there is also some arguements about what difficulty it should be. Ill let the community decide what version and what difficulty RE: Hosting Survival - Nickster258 - 02-17-2015 K. Moved to off-topic. Unofficial. RE: Hosting Survival - Crazyninja2000 - 02-20-2015 okay, i got the server up today. the version is 1.8.3, the difficulty is normal. im not going to post the ip, bust ask me on build and ill msg it to you. I encourage to build close to spawn or in villages and not just sail as far away as you can. 1.8 crashed the server, so the version is 1.7.4 RE: Hosting Survival - PabloDons - 02-20-2015 (02-20-2015, 08:22 PM)Crazyninja2000 Wrote: 1.8 crashed the server, so the version is 1.7.4 Mojang is aware of this error. they are currently looking into it RE: Hosting Survival - Crazyninja2000 - 02-20-2015 (02-20-2015, 10:03 PM)PabloDons Wrote:(02-20-2015, 08:22 PM)Crazyninja2000 Wrote: 1.8 crashed the server, so the version is 1.7.4 okay great. since we are using a 1.7.4 map, it isnt going to generate new chunks normally. RE: Hosting Survival - PabloDons - 02-21-2015 yes it is. the whole point of the 1.7 update was to add all the biomes changes in one update so that further updates would not create ugly chunk borders |
