Darth's Application - Darth_Chaos7 - 02-08-2015 Minecraft name: Darth_Chaos7 What do you like the most about redstone?: I like the simplicity and ease of jumping into redstone circuits! Though, what I like mainly about the approach of redstone logic and organization is the way it can work vertically with each other. Also despite being on only a few hours, I've learned of how hexadecimal logic can work using comparators, which in of itself is awesome enough (I doubt there's been such a thing as a hex-CPU IRL!). What's a thing you have made which demonstrates redstone knowledge?: A 1x Bit Shifter What does it do?: It's a bit-shifter that can either do left or right logical bit shifts by one. It uses an array of multiplexers where the inputs are arranged 'zig-zag' from each other down each multiplexer to arrange the bit shift. The two extra inputs are either L-input or R-input. Image and/or video, from imgur.com or youtube.com: Bit Shifter: http://imgur.com/CYITMvT Input: 1101 http://imgur.com/dGHos8j Output (Left Shift x1): 1010 http://imgur.com/ZXl0Obl Output (Right Shift x1): 0011 http://imgur.com/EYDOoBo Do you agree with the rules?: Yes If it helps any, I'm also a CS major. RE: Darth's Application - Nickster258 - 02-08-2015 Accepted purely on the fact that you were able to express that you knew much more than a bit shifter in-game. Hop online any time for a trial! |
