Possibility to move the webserver - tyler569 - 01-17-2015
Hello everyone!
In the coming weeks, I will be investigating a backend move of the webserver to a different OS, and as this presents an opportunity to move it physically as well, I'd like to take a poll as to where everyone would like it located. Likely you'll want to pick the closest location to you, and I'll take the results into consideration if/when my migration happens.
You may pick as many as you would be happy with, because.

It would probably be best to get the server as central as possible, not only current members, but also for new once.
I have no idea where this point is, so I'll be voting for Amsterdam.
I need to terrorise your server in some way, and going al the way to Singapore so plant bombs sounds like a lot of work.

Close your computer or log out. There are no excuses there.
Tyler and I found it offensive and essentially the thing that someone would find on the shenanigans subforum. Not acceptable here.

I, too approve of nick's actions.
Also if someone other than the person themself has access to admin's account that's a bit of a problem.

Anyways, back on topic, I'd be hoping for either London or New York. Central is good.
(and also, Amsterdam is pretty close to london, so i'd say the votes for those should go for either.)
