A suggestion to improve build applications - MelvinS4_ - 10-31-2014 As everyone knows, far from everyone fills in their application properly. I have a suggestion to ease the workload of having to explain to everyone who does this that they're not accepted. I don't know if it's possible (it should be?) but we could add a special 'New forum' button in applications. Instead of freely being able to write an app, it would have structured boxes for every question to be answered. If anyone of these were to be left empty, a message would appear to tell the aspiring redstoner that they have not filled in their application properly. As for the links to an image, it should also be possible to check if it is a legit link. If they just write "sry dont got 1" it won't be accepted. Of course it's not possible to check if the link is to an image of actual redstone, but it has to be better than nothing. I feel that this would help the application process a bit. The ones who are able to follow the rules will have no issues and the ones who can't will have a harder time breaking them. What do you guys think? Yay or nay? RE: A suggestion to improve build applications - TSO - 10-31-2014 The other half of the problem is that about half of the applications that are denied for not having an image are really student applications as far as relevance ad quality are concerned, so I don't really know what benefit this system would have for that. RE: A suggestion to improve build applications - MelvinS4_ - 10-31-2014 Student applications shouldn't be in the build applications forum anyway. If they can't fill in their applications properly they could be shown a message directing them to the student applications forum instead. RE: A suggestion to improve build applications - greatgamer34 - 10-31-2014 I like this idea a lot.. Im 100% for it RE: A suggestion to improve build applications - LordDecapo - 10-31-2014 I like this. A suggestion to improve build applications - samrEl - 01-16-2015 the Newegg page for the HIS 6850 lists a 500w PSU as a "requirement." Should I be concerned about the 450w PSU in the case? Should I be concerned about the 450w PSU in the case? Yes. However, you should be able to increase the wattage of PSU by first putting a conductive object, like a knife, into the the energy socket which provides energy. Doing this will increase the amount of electricity that flows trough the socket, and thus increase the wattage of your PSU by about 60-70 watt.
