What do you like the most about redstone?: Being able to create real-life technology and making it work in Minecraft.
What's a thing you have made which demonstrates redstone knowledge?: I have created different doors in Minecraft which consists of double-piston extenders. In addition, I cerated an automatic potato farm so when they finish growing, they all break and flow into the water.
What does it do?: For my doors, I used double-piston extenders on the and bottom that uses sand so it falls down. The automatic potato farm basically consists of pistons which extend the farm block up. When the crops are done, the pistons come down and the potatoes end up in the water flow.

Ed_Max, I see you are trying to link a video from your hard drive. Please upload it to youtube so we can view it properly.
Also, you might be better off applying on the school server if you don't have experience in digital logic.
Edit: NM I see that today you got student rank and that this is in the wrong forum anyway.

What do you like the most about redstone?: I Like how you can make traps and very useful stuff like a fully auto cobble stone generator or even a auto 6x6 door that opens when you enter a code
What's a thing you have made which demonstrates redstone knowledge?: I have made a all in one room that holds a farm that is auto a cobble stone generator that is semi auto and a mine using tnt and sand that is auto and also has redstone doors and traps
What does it do?:It makes every thing easier to do and faster to do

Ed_Max, please upload the video you've provided to a video hosting site such as Youtube.
As Rekcir said, it might be better if you learn a bit more about redstone logic on the school server and then apply again later.
