Apllication - greatgamer34 - 06-22-2013 What is your In Game Name (IGN): Greatgamer34 What in particular interests you most about redstone: How i can turn signals into an amazing contraption. Which prompt have you selected to build: i have selected to build a coordinate gpu. Please provide an explanation of your device: It plots points and images using different input methods. Do you agree to the rules of our server: (yes/no) YESS I AGREEE!!!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gtzAUT7RXAA RE: Apllication - Guy1234567890 - 06-22-2013 Very cool. What do you plan to build for your trial? RE: Apllication - greatgamer34 - 06-22-2013 I don't know, how about a simple 4 bit adder. I have bad internet so it might take me longer than usuall. The wifi comes from a 3g hotspot and I get bad service at home lol. oh and one more question, can i have it add in binary and output in binary, or have it take 2 base 10 numbers convert them to binary then add them then convert them back to base 10 then convert them into 7 segment display? RE: Apllication - Guy1234567890 - 06-22-2013 It's better if you keep things in binary. Also, perhaps you could make more than just an adder? We will stack it for you so you only have to build 1 bit. An ALU generally is a good idea. RE: Apllication - greatgamer34 - 06-22-2013 I really don't know how to build an alu..... I need to learn. And I just don't want to copy someone else's from YouTube. I need learning lol. Any other suggestion to build? RE: Apllication - Guy1234567890 - 06-23-2013 Erm, well, generally the lower level a device you build the more thorough explanation we expect. Could you make an adder/subtractor? RE: Apllication - JeremyG - 06-23-2013 What I'd love to see someone do is a sand falling engine/1-player connect 4 with no win detection, without using sand or gravel. Just my recommendation. EDIT: Also Guy, move threads! Stop making me do it ._. RE: Apllication - greatgamer34 - 06-23-2013 I dwhyont know what a sand falling engine is, I could try to build a subtract or but it probably won't work. What if I made my custom adder that I designed myself using pistons? I need to learn which is why I want to join the sever. If I haven't moved it, then it hasn't been approved yet. If you don't mind not having world edit, you can get a plot easily. In fact, this application is more than enough, so I'll make you student rank on the server. The IP is sc.openredstone.org RE: Apllication - greatgamer34 - 06-23-2013 oh man no world edit..... that is so helpful though. Is there a way to rank up to get w/e RE: Apllication - Guy1234567890 - 06-23-2013 Well, once you learn what you need to pass a trial, just take a trial and pass! Anyway, i'll be happy to be your occasional world edit slave :p RE: Apllication - greatgamer34 - 06-23-2013 ohhh, ok thanks. RE: Apllication - Guy1234567890 - 07-17-2013 Erm, make sure you are using the correct IP. It is sc.openredstone.org RE: Apllication - Guy1234567890 - 07-27-2013 Alright, you've learned enough it would seem! Approved! |
