SAC 16 bit Super Advanced Computer - Billman555555 - 06-21-2013 Hi guys this is the ORE server thread for the WIP computer Also known as SAC. For More information please visit the Minecraft fourm topic about it: http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/1845495-sac-16-bit-super-advanced-computer/#entry22838881 If you would like to help please post a reply or PM me. Thanks RE: SAC 16 bit Super Advanced Computer - Billman555555 - 06-22-2013 Bump RE: SAC 16 bit Super Advanced Computer - EDevil - 06-22-2013 Dont worry, i've replied on your minecraftforum post ;D RE: SAC 16 bit Super Advanced Computer - Billman555555 - 06-23-2013 (06-22-2013, 03:51 PM)EvilDevil59NL Wrote: Dont worry, i've replied on your minecraftforum post ;DThanks If yo would like to help then PM me. RE: SAC 16 bit Super Advanced Computer - Billman555555 - 07-04-2013 BUMP! I Think This Topic needs Some More Attention, So If You Post On MC Fourm Plz Post Here 2. Thnx RE: SAC 16 bit Super Advanced Computer - Billman555555 - 07-07-2013 Bump I have heavily modified this computer check it out. Also Replie to this topic too and check out build disscuss RE: SAC 16 bit Super Advanced Computer - nogreif - 07-07-2013 Make this a computer Plz If u do U = COOL!! End. *Fart* RE: SAC 16 bit Super Advanced Computer - VirtualPineapple - 07-11-2013 RE: SAC 16 bit Super Advanced Computer - CMOSprinkles - 07-19-2013 I think that every component of the computer should be made 2 wide, as that provides the most optimal ratio between size and speed; discuss. (You said if we post in the MC forums topic we should post here, just trying to contribute to the overall discussion for you.) RE: SAC 16 bit Super Advanced Computer - Xeomorpher - 07-19-2013 2 wide is adorable. RE: SAC 16 bit Super Advanced Computer - EDevil - 07-20-2013 (07-19-2013, 06:03 PM)Xeomorpher Wrote: 2 wide is adorable. Indeed izza Cute! RE: SAC 16 bit Super Advanced Computer - Billman555555 - 07-20-2013 Thanks for posting here as it creates awarnes over the server, How long would it take If I were to swap it for 2 wide and would I need to redesign every part I already have on MP and SP. RE: SAC 16 bit Super Advanced Computer - CMOSprinkles - 07-22-2013 You would probably need to redesign any component that isn't 2 wide, but I'm almost certain that you'll find it's much easier to build faster circuits 2 wide since you don't have to worry as much about signal strength. Already have started, got an adder (Sorry guy uses pistons) and some XORs Need to make fast reliable (piston less or minimal) dual load registers and a Stack. RE: SAC 16 bit Super Advanced Computer - CMOSprinkles - 07-24-2013 Bananalord's stack looked pretty compact and impressive, maybe ask him about it. As for the dual load registers, I believe a Bazil flop based RAM would work, but it would involve pistons. A bazil flop RAM would work But I did see a totaly Solid state dual load RAM that is 2 wide. Have to look in to it more when I get back Ingame RE: SAC 16 bit Super Advanced Computer - CMOSprinkles - 07-25-2013 Just remember that read/write speed is very important, mostly the write speed. Bazil Flops have dual capabilities and they can be written to in 1.5 ticks, so I think they are extremely useful. RE: SAC 16 bit Super Advanced Computer - Billman555555 - 07-25-2013 Went ingame today and am going to use a basilflop based register. RE: SAC 16 bit Super Advanced Computer - CMOSprinkles - 08-05-2013 Is the CPU finished yet? I'd love to see its specifications, since I can't hop on the server. Do you have an instruction set finished for it yet? RE: SAC 16 bit Super Advanced Computer - Billman555555 - 08-06-2013 I have an IS on the server. The *NEW* CPU is underway. (Finished Registers and Almost done with ALU) Also Please Move large disscussions over to the Topic on MC fourms as it is getting lonly with jst me: http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/1845495-sac-16-bit-super-advanced-computer/ RE: SAC 16 bit Super Advanced Computer - Billman555555 - 08-11-2013 ^^ Added a video to MC fourm. RE: SAC 16 bit Super Advanced Computer - Billman555555 - 07-02-2014 hi guys as you know i have no longer been able to play on the server because i have no internet at home, currently stealing off of apple at sydney. i am requesting this thread be closed by my plot NOT deleted (XEO) RE: SAC 16 bit Super Advanced Computer - Billman555555 - 01-15-2015 OKKKKKEEEDOKE! Good news and merry christmas and a happy new year and festivus for the rest of us. I am going to COMPLETE THIS THING i might change the name to somthing a little less braggy but yeah. So if u would like to help make this happen keep posting suggestions. HOWEVER!!!! After i have finaly finished this i am going to work on multiple little projects around the place and then attempt at the worlds fastest minecraft cpu!! I guess ill see you on the server OreJava.offTopic("If anyone has any engineering projects i could work on, not just in mc but also irl, just PM me. SOOO BORED!!!!"); RE: SAC 16 bit Super Advanced Computer - Apuly - 01-15-2015 Although I haven't really followed your project at any point whatsoever, I would still like to say: "gg m8" |
