What do you like the most about redstone?: Its very simple once you know it. Very easy to learn once you know it too.
What's a thing you have made which demonstrates redstone knowledge?: Pull the rug/Mine the diamond trap, made some daylight lamps, mob traps, player traps etc.
What does it do?: It kills a player by luring them into a trap as such victim mineing a diamond and having the floor beneath them being pulled

Im sorry, that doesn't demonstrate enough redstone knowledge to be on the build server. Try applying for the school server!

However, he is correct, we require knowledge of redstone logic for a build server application, perhaps you would find our school server helpful.
