AMD to release their first processor that comes with a stock speed of 4.7Ghz and hits 5.0Ghz without any overclocking.:

As long as it's relatively cheap and beats most i5's, it will be good for me. Big Grin

Currently on 4.3Ghz with my OC'd A10 so this is quite a step forward.

Apparently it sucks up the wall... (220W)

Well my GTX480 uses 250W on full load and as I've OC'ed it to 850Mhz it would be drinking nearer 300W.
But yea, for a CPU that is quite a lot... Tongue

it's over 10!

I really dont care about the power usage of the thing, i still live with my parents Big Grin Problem for me is the heat output, that thing is gonna get hot, and i would really doubt it if its a good overclocker as well...

RE: As an AMD fanboy, I am happy. - seankingman - 06-16-2013

Same, but the heat to me is only a problem to the chip itself, unless it is extremely warm outside (+25C) which is not normally a problem here in the UK. Smile
When it's relatively cold or my parents want to save money on the central heating, I just fire up Unigine Heaven for a few rounds and my room is back to my most comfortable indoor temperature of between 22-24C. Tongue
