Best ear buds for under $30? - Nickster258 - 04-14-2014

OK, so this is a bit off subject but it works here... Kinda.

I am an audio quality nut. I am also a cheap-scape. These two things make it difficult for me to get a decent pair of ear buds that I can wear in public without being an obtrusive asshole.

Any recommendations?

Who fucking cares if people think you're a douche. Buy yourself a 100$ pair of Bose earbuds so that you can actually listen to quality music.
Make sure you buy the 3year warranty for like 20-30$... it's totally worth it.

You might not like it but the sound quality of the "new" ear buds by Apple are very good considering their price.

Monoprice 8320s. $8 price, $30 quality.

With this one you should, however, get some external eartips, because the supplied ones can be uncomfortable.

Buy these. The cables are very well made so they won't break very easily. The sound quality is extremely good as well. Don't continuously waste your money buying cheap 20$ headphones that break within a month... spend the 100$ for a good pair and another 20-30$ in warranties and you'll save money in the longrun. I went about 4 years once where I went through about 500$ worth of headphones but ended up spending nothing on them because of my warranty. My headphones never broke, I just got tired of them and wanted a crispy new pair Big Grin

Do we only have a default mandatory 2-year warranty on electronic products in Norway?
