Application for build server - Wfortin2 - wfortin2 - 04-07-2014

Minecraft name: My minecraft name is wfortin2

What do you like the most about redstone?: What I like most about redstone is how it is complex and makes your brain work. I like puzzles on making new creations and also the memory on how they work.

What's a thing you have made which demonstrates redstone knowledge?: I have made adders/subtractors that are RCA and ICA. My most signifigant creation was an 3-bit ALU using ICA logic.

What does the thing do?: My ALU or Arithmetic logic unit is a big adder with different functions allowing to do different things just on an adder. I used an ICA adder and it has the main 6 control functions (if that's how you say it.) They are !A, !B, Cut carry, Flood carry, or, and Cin. Those functions can create most other functions. An example of what it can do is without any functions on it is a normal adder but using !B or !A and Cin you can have a subtractor.

I created an Album on Imgur.com to look at the pictures of the ALU. The first picture you will see is the Adder design I used. The second picture you will see is the inputs. The third will be all the basically all the redstone. The fourth picture being the outputs.

Extra: Also it is a 3-bit ALU the reason there is a 4th line is because that is the Cout so that on subtract it says whether it is negative or positive. The ALU is on the school server at my plot if you are intrested in seeing it in person.

Do you agree with the rules?: Yes I agree with the rules as they are reasonable and fair.

You never provided a link to the images but if you're as good as you say, you're an appropriate candidate. Approved!
