Build Server Application - Autom - 02-09-2014 Minecraft name: Autom3 What do you like the most about redstone?: There is pretty much no limit on what you can do with redstone, there's always gonna be something new or different to "invent". What's a thing you have made which demonstrates redstone knowledge?: I've built a normal ALU with the standard functions (cut carry, flood carry, OR). I've also built a binary to decimal converter (see question below for details) Since the question was: "a" thing, I'm not sure if I can show more, but I can post more, I've also built a machine that counts where the LSB of an 8 bit number is located, and also something that is pretty much like an easily expandable, 4-bit, multi combo lock (imagine two (or more) doors with a different combo, but input through the same input panel, and only one can open). I have also made a 1 wide (on the output side) binary decoder. What does the thing do?: So, it is a contraption that generates a random 8 bit binary number, then converts it to decimal using the Double-Dabble algorithm, displays the decimal number on a 3 x 7-segment display, then the user has to input the original binary number, and if it's correct some lamp lights up, you can also just display the original binary number of course.
