I feel like you guys are kinda missing the true ORE circlejerk. Making fun of people for "hating on brit" is kinda stupid, considering none of the replies were openly hostile against her, but did raise important points about her conduct.
The actual problematic circlejerk in this community is really the rampant elitism and pseudo-intellectualism that we seem to encourage. Maybe a circlejerk thread should try a little bit harder to actually parody the genuine issues in the community?
Remember kids, circlejerk != spam, although it seems to have drifted that way. /r/circlejerk started off as a sub where people actually created believable posts that highlighted the absurdity of some members of the greater reddit community.
Or you guys could just use this thread as a workout for your ctrl+v fingers...
