Application im3xx - im3xx - 12-26-2013 So well this is my application, I guess. My IGN is "im3xx" What do I like most about Redstone? Mh, thats a good question, I like the challange behind it. For example u build a staircase: to stay as compact and fast as possible but still get it to work. Or just other logic stuff. You don't have to watch for the voltage behind the parts like in Reallife. It is alot simpler. Well to demonstrate my knowledge I wanna show you my ALU. Mh what does an ALU do? Well what an ALU does simple answer. xD No, jokes beside well my ALU-design has 2 parts I want to splitt up: functionality and handiness. Functionality: My ALU has 5 flags: Invert A, Invert B, OR, Carry In, Carry Overflow I guess you know urself what actions you can perform with the ALU. Handiness: First to say: handiness has its price, if I had resigned about the handiness it would be a bit faster, but I prefered the handiness in that case. So the Design is 3 wide (damn this one Redstone Torch >.<) but 2 wide modular stackable. Basicly the handy thing about it: It uses only 1(!) Design you just stack next to each other. in the end you just need to wire up the flags and place 1 Block in the "Carry In"-wire on the least segnificant bit. Here the basic Design you just need to stack: Some other screenshots: RE: Application im3xx - EDevil - 12-27-2013 (12-26-2013, 11:00 PM)Phasesaber Wrote: You're going to make it, for sure!
