application - ethanguy1000 - 12-21-2013 Minecraft name: ethanguy1000 What do you like the most about redstone?: the fact that it is simalar to electricity and you can do almost the same things with redstone as electricity. What's a thing you have made which demonstrates redstone knowledge?: i made a ram and rom module. they are both made for my 8-bit computer the ram uses piston t flip-flops that i designed myself. the rom is progammable to store bits from applications, numbers, and letters. What does the thing do?: it stores bits temporarly or permenatly for my 8-bit redstone computer. RE: application - Phase - 12-21-2013 No pics? RE: application - EDevil - 12-21-2013 Okay, this looks nice! Question though, do you have more components (like ALU) already done for your 8-bit cpu? RE: application - ethanguy1000 - 12-21-2013 sorry no pics RE: application - EDevil - 12-21-2013 Phase, please dont post on applications. Youre new here, so i wont make a big deal out of it or anything ![]() RE: application - ethanguy1000 - 12-21-2013 not yet im planning on doing that on the school server. i need to knowhow to make a calculator RE: application - EDevil - 12-21-2013 Well, we like to see some binary knowledge in combination with an adder or subtractor etc. on trials. If you dont think you have that required knowledge yet, then the school server is the perfect place for you ![]() RE: application - ethanguy1000 - 12-21-2013 so can i be a member i know bits this is like a slow conversation RE: application - EDevil - 12-21-2013 Its very simple, the minimum to get in for a trial is an adder / subtractor combination. If you think that you cant make that, than the school server is an excellent choice. Especially considering you know binary already, it shouldn't take more than an hour to learn adders. RE: application - ethanguy1000 - 12-21-2013 but i coudnt build in the school server. im trying to do my computer on the server |
