Builder application - Rapture - 05-02-2020
Minecraft name: _Rapture_
What do you like the most about redstone?: My job is to work as an implementation engineer for a chip design company so redstone is a very real way for me to experience building a CPU from the ground up, much like I do in my job but now I can do it at a lower level. I love designing CPU's and so this is just an extension of what I enjoy.
What's a thing you have made which demonstrates redstone knowledge?: I have made an 8 bit vertical CCA based ALU.
What does it do?: It applies logical operations to two 8 bit binary numbers, these operations include addition, inversion on A and B, XOR, OR and an accumulator which is hooked up to my B input. Other features include an overflow and a carry in for the LSB.
