What do you like the most about redstone?: The freedom to build something and watch it do something that you intended it to do (like programming)
What's a thing you have made which demonstrates redstone knowledge?: An instant full adder (and subtractor if you use 2s compliment)
What does it do?: Adds two bits together (sorry not much else to say there).

It may be better to build that adder, possibly an ALU, instead of that RAM. Would you want to build the adder/ALU instead?

Ok that would work fine, I haven't built an ALU yet but it would be nice to finally make one.
