What do you like the most about Redstone?: The thing I like most about Redstone is the ability to create anything you want, like computers
and calculators but also things like doors and farms.
What's a thing you have made which demonstrates Redstone knowledge?: An RCA ALU
What does it do?: My RCA ALU can do the commands: "not a/not b", "or" gates, flood carries and basic addition.

You should probably learn the gates you can simulate with the controls you describe. A flood carry is necessary to enable the use of logic operations, but is not a function or operation on its own.
Learn 2s complement/negative binary also if you have not already.
