So, I was jokingly making a lag machine, and I wanted to clear my play plot, but I couldn't. I was trying to fix it, but Nickstar permabanned me. I think this is completely unfair, as Fartonaut had been banned from play for a week, yet I was permabanned. I know what I did was wrong, and I just want to get back to the server.

So what made you think a lag machine would be funny?
I understand that you wanted to mess with Fartonaut. You asked him to tp to you in order to also get him stuck in that mess you made.
Now you were both stuck. What do you do? Beg for help clearing it up. There was at least 10 messages within a minute asking for someone to clear your plot.
What was on that plot? 5 or so lag machines. All shooting arrows. Nothing else.
You should be more responsible about the things you do on the server. There are other people playing online and the server can only take so much stress. We were lucky somebody was there to deal with it right away.
We also really don't like negativity in chat. After you were banned, you did nothing but argue and beg for unban and being obnoxious. You even PM'd Nick. Unsolicited private messages is harassment and may be reported directly to discord.
Fartonaut made an appeal. It was initially indefinite and we deemed it was reasonable to shorten it. Yours is also indefinite (not permanent). This is entirely fair. Both your situations are different and should be treated different. You didn't just make a lag machine.
Please understand the staff's perspective of this and what we expect of members. Until then the ban will not change.

Staff has reviewed this and decided on granting the appeal.
We are lenient with "lag machines" on play (and only play). As long as the machine isn't obnoxious to other users, it is mostly fine. That does not, however, apply to lag machines that spawn a ridiculous amount of entities, causing anyone to load the effected chunks to crash and/or freeze.
Such is the case with this form of lag machine. Staff had to go through a few hoops to fix the server, and as such we aren't going to be that forgiving with further infractions.
