Got banned - SockLion - 10-23-2019

I got banned from ORE cause I made a arrow lag machine that crashed the play server. I did not know it would crash it and will not do it again. That is why you should unban me. Ore is very fun so I want to be unbanned

You did not know that 66k arrows could crash the server? I'm sure the server could handle around 5k arrows, would you keep it at that level instead if you were unbanned?

Yes, I would just wouldn’t build an arrow machine. I was hooking them up to a button, but for some they looped, and then I couldn’t rejoin. If you won’t unban, can you at least not make it indefinite?

Can please someone reply so I can have more fun on ORE?

Staff has reviewed this and decided on granting the appeal.

We are lenient with "lag machines" on play (and only play). As long as the machine isn't obnoxious to other users, it is mostly fine. That does not, however, apply to lag machines that spawn a ridiculous amount of entities, causing anyone to load the effected chunks to crash and/or freeze.

Such is the case with this form of lag machine. Staff had to go through a few hoops to fix the server, and as such we aren't going to be that forgiving with further infractions.
