My Application - Adam1205 - 02-11-2018

Minecraft name: Adam1025F

What do you like to most about redstone?: Redstone computers which are fast and provide vast functionality. I like the idea of having electronics, like computers and calculators, from the real world and having them work but with redstone mechanics. It could be like game/computer-ception, which I've always been interested in.

What's a thing you have made which demonstrates redstone knowledge?: I have made two things: a computer (in the video) and a Tic-Tac-Toe (Noughts & Crosses) machine. The computer is loosely based on a design by bennyscube (he's on YouTube though he's been gone for 4 months now) but with a couple modifications for speed and functionality. For the Tic-Tac-Toe machine, I built it purely from scratch (though the idea of the design might not have been original).

What does the thing do?: The computer can do whatever one programs it to do, with some technical limitations. On it, I managed to make it add and subtract 2/3 numbers and do the Fibonacci sequence, I think (it was a long time ago so I can't fully remember). The TTT machine could display X or O on the large display almost instantly (it used minimal repeaters and mostly relied on instant repeaters). There was also a light which could show you who won and it wouldn't break if you spammed it too much. The TTT machine isn't 100% complete yet, there are still some things I need to add like: a reset button and X/O overlapping prevention.

Image/s and/or video/s of the device, from imgur.com or youtube.com: https://youtu.be/J2QEVji-yxw <-- this contains a somewhat old video of the redstone computer I built.

What do you plan on making for your build trial?: I'm going to try and make an instant full adder (or 1 tick at most). If I have worldedit and if time permits, I could try and make an entire ALU. If you see me offline for a long time, it might be because I'm still in the process of designing and compacting it.

Do you agree with the rules?: Of course. I wouldn't be making this application if I didn't.
