Vertically-tiled CPU - tokumei - 11-06-2013 Yessiree, we are going back in time! This time Im going back to vertically tiled logic, instead of horizontally - the norm today. Thoughts? :3 RE: Vertically-stacked CPU - Iceglade - 11-06-2013 ...Stack ALU? ._. RE: Vertically-stacked CPU - youtakun - 11-07-2013 I tried that with my printer (As a head start) and decided to abandon it because its much harder to go up and down, and I couldn't make a nice switchboard. When you space blocks with redstone on top every 2, and place levers on the ends, each lever also powers the line below. You can just place another block on the end of the line and place a lever on top of it, since levers can't power other levers xD RE: Vertically-stacked CPU - MelvinS4_ - 11-07-2013 Both of the CPUs on my plot are vertical. You can check them out for inspiration of you like RE: Vertically-stacked CPU - tokumei - 11-07-2013 My bad, the proper word would be "tiled". I've edited it. |
