ORE Build Application - GoldfishSwag - 11-03-2013 Minecraft name: GoldfishSwag What do you like the most about redstone?: The ability to create complex redstone creations that use binary and can do many of the things you can do in real life, such as implementing a CPU with a RISC16 IS etc. What's a thing you have made which demonstrates redstone knowledge?: I've made alot of things in redstone, I know how to make RCA adders (and ICA) and make ALU's with every logic gate operation (although thats usually overkill). The best thing i've made is an 8 bit CPU What does the thing do?: The 8 bit CPU with a super simple instruction set allowed basic data to be loaded and stored, and an ALU that added and subtracted. More specifically, it had a 20 tick clock (pretty slow I know), 8 bytes of memory, 13 bytes of program memory, and a basic binary display in the Control room. It also featured a memory mapped RNG Image and/or video, from imgur.com or youtube.com: I don't have any pictures because I messed up on the update to 1.7 and it for some reason messed up my worlds but if you want I can make something quick in ssp, however the project for my trial was going to be a small CPU probably. Depends on if I get help with stacking because thats usually the most time consuming. RE: ORE Build Application - newomaster - 11-03-2013 Please provide some evidence of your work with redstone (required), but otherwise this looks like a great application we just need some pictures or video and you'll be good. RE: ORE Build Application - GoldfishSwag - 11-06-2013 Will this count as some work? Just some memory, pretty simple stuffs http://imgur.com/a/4OO2k RE: ORE Build Application - newomaster - 11-10-2013 Hm that's some nice memory, however it doesn't show quiteeee enough logic. Could you build something that shows a bit more logic knowledge? |
