My suggestions:
-Rotarycraft (heavy-progression tech mod)
-Reactorcraft (Add-on for RoC, adds end-game, hard to make energy generation stuff)
-Electricraft (Another add-on for RoC, adds better ways to transmit energy)
-Logistics Pipes (Early-Mid-Game item sorting and automation)
-Applied Energistics 2 (End-Game item storage and automation)
-Railcraft (Idk much about it but ik it makes minecarts better and has some machines too. and... pretty damn good looking blocks)
-Buildcraft (Industrial tech mod)
-OpenComputers (C O M P U T E R S B O I)
-RedTech (with add-ons installed) (redstone mod)
-Draconic Evolution (End-game high-tier tools and armour, as well as end-game high-tier power gen)
I don't really feel like any further tech mods would be necessary.
The only downside is that some of these are 1.7-only and not compatible with Cauldron.
Magic:
idk many magic mods
-Botania (It's actually a misc tech mod but it has a really magical feel to it so I put it here)
-ChromatiCraft (Exploration and progression bases magic-tech mod. Goes well with Rotarycraft)
Misc:
-Some barrel mod
-Storage Drawers
-Simply Jetpacks (Jetpacks!!!!!1!!one)
-Chisel (deeecorattiiiiiooooon)
-Tinkers' Construct (tools)
-Some claiming, protection and basic commands mod (you can't use cauldron)

As it stands now, i will compile a list for a custom ORE mod pack after work today, picking from all the suggestions and adding some that I know we will need.

And that looks pretty good.
I will post a new thread with a summarization of everyone's ideas along with 3 options to vote on,, the custom pack I will give details for, the ATM-Expert, or another option.

I agree with Digi, ATM-Expert, but only if the mods that are tacked on are for lag reasons only.

Our servers get reset often... and you missing your base isn't nearly critical enough to prevent me from doing something to better stability...
What's the point of having a base u can't even use due to lag? None... none whatsoever...
Capo is right. The server is being stressed far too much with this pack. Much of the build lag is caused by this pack.
Sounds like a virtualization problem

Seems like an ok pack, would like galacticraft. Perhaps a default pack that includes it?

I don't see any tech mods in there @tk @lord I know that all the techy stuff is what makes it a positive experience for me. Not particularly a fan of a in depth survival type deal

So something like ATM-Expert with GalactiCraft tacked on with some antilag mods (FoamFix, Tick Dynamic, BetterFps)

Problem with Galacti Craft is possible world gen lag, along with the balance issue since it adds new ores and machines which might possibly interfere with the current mods, but if this could be addressed I'm not against it being in the pack.
