Application - InstanceofDeath - InstanceofDeath - 04-22-2017

Code:
Minecraft name: InstanceofDeath
What do you like the most about redstone?:

I like  litteraly everything (except pistons. They are just shortcuts for mechanisms, who are much more beatiful only with standard redstone) My favorite things in Minecraft Pc's
are the Matrizen (2d Arrays) used as encoders and decoders from binary to decimal. And the different kinds of memory cells, stacked and combined to one big data save

What's a thing you have made which demonstrates redstone knowledge?:

I built a small "All Gate Machine" in about 10minutes. My previous big projects got deleted, because my old pc broke

If thats not enough I could build something different. I didnt rlly show my redstone skills in this one

What does it do?:

You have 2 inputs (A and B).
When you dont flick any lever it will be a XOR gate
flicking the Invert turns it into a NXOR
flicking the AND or the OR one does the expected thing ...
flicking the A > B turns the output-lamp on, when A is 1, but not B. Invert in this context is before the A > B check

What do you plan on making for your build trial?:

I rlly don't know. Maybe some kind of compact-color-display (There I will need some high piston technics)

Do you agree with the rules? Yes We can ... I do

As you said, I think those pictures and what you wrote doesn't show your redstone skills enough.
Do you know any thing about ALUs and CPUs, how they work, and how you could build one using redstone?

Yes. But I would build something completely different than you do on your server. While you guys would build an ALU like a small circuit that only calculates one part and then starts again with controls and data together, I would build a bigger one with direct features like multiply / add / divide / subtract. And then I would make a hard decoder which decodes an selfcreated assembler and some modules for counting, comparing et cetera, which can get called

what should I do now?

RE: Application - InstanceofDeath - LambdaPI - 04-23-2017

You can build something that shows more knowledge such as a small alu with limited functions and reapply

Did you just pass up a divider? damn
