Build Server Application - Micalobia - 03-21-2017 Minecraft Username: Neitzkids What I like most about redstone: The challenge, and the simplicity. Achievements: I have designed an 4bit analog memory cell, used currently in an 8byte memory unit Purpose: I can store up to 4 bits of memory in analog format per cell, used to store memory super compact. The 8 byte memory currently doesn't have a write system, but that shouldn't be too difficult to change. Links: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B-3A2bkPQfh3OHc5VFVhTXEwQW8 What do I plan on building for my trials: Most likely the same hex memory, but I might decide to go with the dropper RS-NOR latch memory that I am currently developing. Do I accept the rules: I agree with the rules, and will abide them the best that I can. Build Server Application - LambdaPI - 03-21-2017 Your application does not show sufficient redstone knowledge in order to join the build server. Instead, I'd recommend applying for our school server here. RE: Build Server Application - Micalobia - 03-21-2017 May I ask what would be sufficient enough? I can create an ALU (although bulky, unless I use another person's design), and I am quite sufficient in the field of analog redstone, as well as developing memory. I am working on a GPU, as well, though not much progress is being made in that department. RE: Build Server Application - LambdaPI - 03-22-2017 An ALU would be quite good. If you could modify your application to include the ALU, that would be great. The problem with memory is that it doesn't really show enough logic to be enough for the build server. Minecraft Username: Neitzkids What I like most about redstone: The challenge, and the simplicity. Achievements: I have designed an 4bit analog memory cell, used currently in an 8byte memory unit I also have the knowledge the create an ALU, whether it be based off of other's designs or it is a design of my own. Purpose: I can store up to 4 bits of memory in analog format per cell, used to store memory super compact. The 8 byte memory currently doesn't have a write system, but that shouldn't be too difficult to change. The ALU can be added onto to do a wide variety of functions, as just an Adder has quite a lot of useful gates that could be tapped off of. Let's just go with Adding, XOR, AND, OR, and NOT for now, as those are easiest to implement. Links: Previous links, and the attachment in white wool for the ALU. Not my design, but my own design is bulky so I prefer this one. What do I plan on building for my trials: An ALU, as that is the minimum logic requirement to get onto the build server. Do I accept the rules: I agree with the rules, and will abide them the best that I can. Build Server Application - LambdaPI - 03-25-2017 Accepted for trial! Hop on the server at mc.openredstone.org and ask a staff member for assistance. |
