Visi-Core - Matthijs de bruijn* - 08-20-2016 I posted this thread already in the act subforum, but because there was noting posted the last day, i wanted to fill the forum a bit, so why not. the gpu has a 16h and 32l screen is the sise in pixles, and one pixle is 2x2 I reduced a unit of an old gpu, and now there are 4 pixle states transparant, on, off and invert. Invert is cool if you want to select someting without overwriting something, so inverting inverts the input of the previous layer, and if you edit that previous layer, a pixle can be inverted by the next layer if inverting is saved to it. For now i have not enough space, i need 2x2 plots or 300x300 blocks. that should be fine. MATTHEW!!! MATTHEW??? can i make standard instructions for all acts gpus?, if a gpu can not execute a command then it can give an exception to the cpu, and if the cpu want to do it, the cpu is going to do it. The word processor is bigger, but the thing is, now you can update the screen at the moment you want, so you can paste a lot of text in it and show it all in one time instead of seeing everyting letter by letter. For the people who didn't know, the screen of the gpu is also an screen that you can update when you want, so you cant see a line build up pixle for pixle. I also want instant busses, Only busses and no instant logic else, it will be to big and laggy. I also want to add sprites, What it basicaly does, it saves a picture and the location, and if you want to move it, you clear the screen where all the sprites are, and set the new location. Maybe someting that can say, Move sprite x and y offset per update untill it colises, or is on a y or/and z cord. I also can say, let the sprite go form here to there and move it n blocks / update. Maybe branching is and idea, fore instance if sprite one x = n then add one to score2 and display it on the scoreboard or the text monitor. I also want to add something like a SPF display, so you can see the frame rate, and more cool stuff People, this sounds very complicated, and yes it is, but i like those challenges. I don't know when i am going to finish this, but school is going to start monday This was an update about the ACT Visi-Core v1. Do /warp Visi-Core to see the progress |
