So I can't exactly get a staff member to promote me to student after I filled out the application, but what times are the staff members usually on?

a lot of the staff might actually be online, but not in-game. I recommend you try asking on the discord server, they usually hang out there.

They could be on IRC but just not saying anything. Good example is nickster, he's an IRC boi.
