What do you hope to learn?: Never done redstone, would like to get into it and learn to create contraptions, as well as the computing behind it.
What past experience (if any) do you have in redstone?: Very little knowledge, besides the basics.

Your application does not show sufficient redstone knowledge in order to join the build server.
Instead, I'd recommend applying for our school server here.
