Hey guys!

Long story short, I need people to test my adventure speed parkour map. Its not complete but this version is working, and works enough that i can safely say that it will represent the final map.

If you find any bugs/shortcuts/anything thats un-usual then please post here with the methods you used to trigger said bug Smile

I want this to be the best parkour map out there. And i dont want it to be buggy Tongue

I need some time off my own construction, I'll try it Smile

My opinion:
Ok, FIRST STAGE, I got stuck and no way out, could not change gamemode or break any blocks. Cannot use /kill = Stuck for eternity
Ended up leaving the map.

Where: There is half blocks under me, blocks with half blocks on and blocks too high up around me.

I assume the wood was meant to catch on fire?
At "Toumb-Any-Jumps" You can jump over the initialization-line. I did it a couple of times myself, can be confusing and frustrating for players who don't notice and make it through the entire course.
Ill try it once I am on my computer.
1. Hunger! You become hungry, forcing you to commit suicide.

2. More powerful featherfall perhaps? Currently, you’re bound to take some damage from the tracks’
jumps.

3. You say creative’s allowed if you die too often - what about enabling commands? Or maybe even a button to toggle modes?

4. Fail jump pad -> lose speed effect

5. Possible to jump over tripwire in hanging gardens. Forces you to take an extra lap. There are other times it’s possible to jump over them too, as Rand pointed out.

Overall, an awesome map. Let's hope it becomes at least as well received as DR1 Big Grin
I've got 3 bugs for ya.

1: in the hub there is a waterfall outside, even though there a invisible chests you can swim up it. Since chests don't take up 1 entire block space, if you are on the very edge of the water fall, you can swim up it.

2: In the first level "Strom the castle" I got both the Diamond and the Iron time, which is weird.

3: In the hanging gardens I failed at the jump pad, then I lost my speed effect, as mort pointed out alreay Smile

It's a great map shrogg!
I don't know of any bugs that haven't already been mentioned, but I must say I really love this map. It's such a smooth experience running through it; I never felt like I died unless it was my own fault, and all the special characteristics of the levels felt like the added something fun to the experience. For instance, it's so much fun to do huge jumps in the ice level.
Really great job shrogg, I can't wait to see the rest of this!

Here's my [to]change list so far.
  • Remake level 1 to fit the updated style
  • Prevent scoring system overlap on some levels
  • Wider chests at spawn
  • Create 'creative' button, for people who suck
  • In Hanging Gardens, the jump pad needs to be replaced with some fancy bridge
  • Double Height start wires on all tracks to prevent missing them
  • Force (stronger) Fetherfall boots onto the player
  • Remake start/finish of Hanging gardens
  • oversaturate players hunger on track start, so their food lasts forever
