That it's a simple and fun way to make contraptions, a way to show off your skills, and easy to learn, but hard to master.
I've build and learned (many) RCA ALU(s). Also made a CPU, but I'm still debugging some code
Can do various functions like add, subtract, XNOR, AND, !c (NOT), and OR

I find the rules fair and I will follow them as best as I can
Question: When I say AND do I need to have a lever that ANDs A and B or can I just say, "Oh, to AND, you would have to flip that, and this, and that"
